Why Twitch?

I have always had a passion for playing video games, and I enjoyed watching video game walkthroughs online. When I first heard of Twitch as a community of people live streaming their hobbies, I was naturally curious and drawn in to take a further look.

When I was inspired to host my first live stream back in the early 2019, I was struck by how confusing and complex the behind the scenes platform was for first time streamers. It took me 3 attempts to properly run my first stream…and I had not made use of a majority of stream features! I would soon learn that this is not an uncommon story.
